Portland has a diverse selection of property types. A half hour drive can take you from a downtown condiminium to a rural farm. Portland's urban area has a large selection of condominiums within walking distiance to nightlife, restaurants and parks along the Wilamette River.
The West Side of Portland includes the cities Hillsboro, Beaverton, Aloha, Tigard, Tualatin, Sherwood, Cornelius, Forest Grove, North Plains and Banks. Beaverton is just west of Portland and is home to Nike's corporate headquarters along with Intel's Aloha campus. Intel also has three locations in Hillsboro including the Jones Farm Corporate Campus, Ronler Acres and the Hawthorn Farms campus on NE Elam Young Pkwy.
Washington County extends west from Portland halfway to the Pacific Coast and includes suburban and rural areas. Suburban areas like Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton and Hillsboro are just outside the city and offer a great selection of detached single family homes and townhomes. Styles of homes include contemporary ranch, craftsman, modern and traditional. Many of the older homes are one story on a larger lot while new construction is commonly two story on a smaller lot. Rural properties outside the urban growth boundary include many charming small farms with acreage.
